Who are we

OLLOW sells bicycle frames and accessories (handlebars, seatposts, forks) made from strong, lightweight composite materials with a reduced environmental footprint (use of bio-sourced materials and recyclability of thermoplastics). These parts are co-designed and specifically manufactured in France for each customer. To give as many people as possible access to its technology, OLLOW has also created a range of modular frames, aimed at manufacturers of cargo or special bicycles and alternative forms of mobility (4-wheel bikes, small cars, etc.). Unlike conventional bicycle frames, where each component is specific to its manufacturer's design, the frames of soft mobility machines are (for the most part) composed of tubes whose diameter can be standardized. OLLOW's approach is to keep the customized shape of the tubes of each company joining the scheme, but standardize their diameter so as to be able to offer connecting parts between tubes that are common to all players. This offer promotes the pooling of connection part production resources to lower overall production costs, and makes its technology accessible to companies who would not otherwise be able to absorb the cost, particularly in the prototyping phase. Beyond producing in France, the challenge for these players lies in reducing the mass of their products, thereby increasing their autonomy and reducing their CO2 emissions during use. OLLOW's added value remains the same for both offers, and lies in its ability to combine the industrial flexibility of metal with the clean design and finish of composites, all within a "local" French production chain. In addition to the aesthetic benefits, the quality of the finish enables manufacturers to avoid extra finishing costs associated with sanding and overpainting.
