In 2009, Michel Miclo, owner of the family Miclo Distillery « G. Miclo », will acquire this property. Had he sensed that one day the complementary of these two craft houses would give birth to this extraordinary whisky? MANUFACTURING SECRETS… Alsatian distillers for 3 generations, the Miclo family has managed to preserve, transmit, and enrich their know-how. She developed this gin with the finest ingredients to entrust its refining to our cellar master in Gascony. The still and the « art of distillation » make the character and the typicity of the future gin, its final aromatic palette is coming from the wood of the barrel. For more than 80 years, Veuve Goudoulin has been offering Armagnacs of great finesse. During all these years, large stocks of rare and exceptional old vintages have been stored in our barrels. It is in the same barrels that this gin is refined under the watchful eye of our winemaker. He signs here an exceptional product from the GERS. Tasting note : The nose reveals fine biscuity notes on fig and almond with a caramel background. The mouth softens on the length, the greedy nuances discovered on the nose are confirmed. A long finish leaves us on the palate a very pleasant impression of Armagnac croustade.
