Vin de France "La Croix des Mariniers"

The « Croix des Mariniers » or better to say bargeman crosses, used to be the erected crosses on the bow of the Rhône river vessels. Adorned with « Arma Christi», they protected the crews during their perilous journeys on the Rhône river. They are masterpieces of Naive Art. This cuvee highlights our know-how with the Syrah grape. Tasting : A seducing modern wine style, round and fruity. Some viognier grapes added to Syrah bring finesse and style. A brillant and dark red robe that pairs with intense aromas of ripe red fruits (cherry, blackcurrant…) with hints of floral aromas. There is a stunning eruption of aromas in mouth. Good combination of soft and silky tannins with a lively structure. A perfect accompaniment to contemporary cuisine.
