Isotonic seawater provides the body's cells with all the minerals and trace elements they need. Among other things, it regulates homeostasis. Homeostasis is the body's tendency to maintain or restore various physiological constants to levels that do not deviate from normal. After a sporting effort, the body heats up and tries to regulate itself to restore normal blood flow, for example. Seawater's regulating properties help the body to return to normal.

Arnica montana has also been added to Sports Cream, containing a number of molecules that give it its well-known benefits. It contains linoleic acid (omega 6) and oleic acid (omega 9).

Omega 6 helps the body to protect itself. The latter are important because they are essential. They are not synthesised by the body, but are provided by our diet. 

On the other hand, the omega-9 present in Arnica montana helps to nourish and protect even the most sensitive skin, as it reinforces the hydrolipidic film to maintain the skin's elasticity, suppleness and hydration. 

Some studies have also shown that oleic acid has repairing and healing properties. It is said to promote cellular exchange during the healing process. This makes it an extremely interesting active ingredient after sport, to help muscles and tendons regenerate after exertion. 

Arnica also contains molecules with a strong impact on our muscles. It also contains thymol essential oil and mono- and sesquiterpenes, which help to reduce inflammation and protect the skin, and sesquiterpene lactones, which also help to reduce inflammation. In addition, scientific studies have demonstrated the benefits of local application to the skin to relieve muscular pain and promote cellular exchange for healing.

In conclusion, the active ingredient Arnica montana has its place in our products, as it helps to warm up muscles before or after sport and reduces the appearance of haematomas.

Sports cream also contains Thyme, which is an antispasmodic. In other words, this active ingredient helps combat muscle spasms.
