Who are we

Family-run and independent for 400 years, Maison Lorgeril is based at Château de Pennautier, the family's historic birthplace near Carcassonne, in the heart of the Languedoc region. Today, the House is run by Nicolas and Miren de Lorgeril, the twelfth generation of the family. Over the last 30 years, they have created a strong dynamic to make their family label a signature of excellence in the Languedoc and Roussillon regions. The wines come from the 6 family estates, spread over 8 appellations, and from long-term partnerships forged over the years with a handful of friendly winegrowers. The search for freshness, a guarantee of the elegance and balance of the wines, is the guiding principle of the collections. To achieve this, the House carefully selects the best hillside terroirs, where the altitude tempers the exuberance of the Mediterranean climate.
