JEAN HERVÉ, a French, family-owned and independent 100% organic company established in 1976. What makes JEAN HERVÉ spreads famous is first and foremost their quality. It is achieved through living and traditional manufacturing processes that are unique in their way. Behind each step, there is an intention. All converge on a simple idea: the unique feeling we have when we eat then digest these products. They offer deep nutrition. Sicilian hazelnuts, Sicilian and Spanish almonds, pistachios grown biodynamically... JEAN HERVÉ only buys the best : whole, unoxidised and residue-free fruits, from the last harvest. The taste of wood-fired roasting changes everything! We bring out the full aromas of raw materials. Wood brings an inimitable energy and flavour and necessarily involves craftsmanship. This made-to-measure cooking method was developed by Jean Hervé. The fruit is then ground at low temperature using millstones. As with wood, Jean Hervé has always focused on the energetic side of stone, genuine granite. Grinding preserves the aromas and nutritional benefits of dried fruits. It gives a particular texture, longlasting on the palate, slightly grainy, so specific to Jean Hervé products.
