Who are we

For 35 years now Emmanuel Maitre & Annelyse Gauguelin have specialised in the Open Sea Farming Technique of High Quality Oysters, they farm an oyster called : “Gold Beach”. The Baby Oysters start their life on the Farm when they are a mere 1 millimetre in size. They are subsequently carefully selected then grown on the open-sea oyster beds where they reach maturity after 4 years. Our main aim is to produce only High Quality Oysters for our clients. Our Company employs 7 people and is located in Lower Normandy in the heart of the Landing Beaches. Our Open Sea Oyster Beds total 5 hectares in size and we farm 150 metrics tons per year. The Oysters benefit from plentiful and varied food, thanks to the strong currents and themassive tidal variations along the Normandy Coastline and they have a delicious full-bodied flavour with a slight salty taste. We initially started by selling our Oysters to local Fish Mongers and Restaurants but we now ship our produce via European Importers to Italy, Spain,Holland, Sweden.
