Domaine Pilenium spans 20 hectares of vineyards, bathed in a Mediterranean climate and rooted in clay-limestone and alluvial soils. This unique combination, along with a south-facing exposure, creates the perfect environment for organic farming. The estate is located in a protected area on an 800 hectares peninsula in the "Plâ de l'Ille" making Domaine Pilenium the only winery producing wine on an island in the Languedoc region. This exceptional setting, combined with the influence of the sea breeze and the proximity to salt flats, gives our wines a distinct saline and mineral character.
