Who are we

The result of a passion for winegrowing, a touch of madness, and a lot of hard work, Clos Saint Jean was founded in 1905 by Edmond Tacussel, the great-grandfather of Vincent and Pascal Maurel. The 46 hectares of old vines at Clos Saint Jean are mainly located on a terroir of large rounded pebbles, giving the grapes their complex and balanced aromas. The dedicated team at Clos Saint Jean works every day to maintain the vineyard to the highest standards, producing limited quantities of excellent AOC Châteauneuf du Pape wines. The estate's wines, recognized by the international press, are renowned worldwide for their concentration, complexity, and finesse.
