DOMAINE LANDMANN

Who are we

The Domaine Armand Landmann is located on the Wine Route, in Nothalten, Alsace. Armand Landmann is already the third generation of wine grower settled at this location. At each generation, the vineyard has grown. Today, the total surface area is approximately 12 ha. The ideal position of the Domaine enables Armand Landmann to produce diverse wine grapes on diverse soils. The entire Alsace wine portfolio is represented by the Sylvaner, the Riesling and the Pinot Noir. Each vine is planted on an adapted soil, which enables Armand Landmann to create complex and fine wines. On the top of the “Lieux-Dit” Heissenberg – the warm mountain – and the Zellberg, he harvests around one hectare of Grand Cru Muenchberg. This Grand Cru is ideally a south-exposed valley with soil made of old sediments from 250 million years ago (puddingstone, conglomerates and breaches). Monks already harvested grapes there during the 12th century. Riesling has ever been the preferred grape variety in Muenchberg
