Champagne De Lozey
Who are we
Founded in 1900 by Raymond Cheurlin, Champagne De Lozey is located in the Côte des Bar, the southernmost appellation of Champagne. Located in the Barsequannais vineyard, more precisely in the Commune of Celles-sur-Ource. We operate our Champagne on 12 hectares of vines, certified High Environmental Value and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne, based on the Kimmeridgian terroir, a marl-limestone soil, giving more structured, fruitier, refined wines with a beautiful persistence in the mouth. Our Champagnes are vinified in plots, giving a marked identity and characteristics specific to each plot, the blend meticulously carried out by our oenologists, allows us to combine the best of each plot and the best of fine wines, of rare aromatic complexity. To obtain this refinement and complexity, our Champagnes benefit from prolonged cellar ageing, of the order of 4 to 8 years minimum. The reserves of the De Lozey house come from the perpetual reserve or "Solera" started in 1995. Of remarkable quality, our perpetual reserves bring to our wines a balance between refined maturity and dynamic youth. Some of our cuvées are also made 100% with these perpetual reserves. De Lozey champagne stands out for its unique wines, of great refinement, marked by elegance with each sip.
