DOMAINE DES TROTTIÈRES
Who are we
An Iconic Vineyard and Terroir in the Heart of the Loire Valley For over a century, Domaine des Trottières has cultivated an exceptional terroir ideally located between the Coteaux du Layon hillsides and the fertile landscapes of Anjou, one of the Loire Valley’s most emblematic wine regions. Nestled in the historic village of Thouarcé, and passionately run by the Lamotte family since 1985, the estate expresses through its 18 wines the full character of an outstanding vineyard, shaped by recognized and award-winning expertise. Each vintage reflects the meticulous care, dedication, and creativity that seamlessly blend tradition, terroir, and innovation. Our eight prestigious AOPs proudly embody this craftsmanship: Anjou, Anjou Villages, Rosé de Loire, Rosé d’Anjou, Cabernet d’Anjou, Coteaux du Layon, Bonnezeaux, and Crémant de Loire. Committed to a sustainable approach to viticulture, the Domaine holds dual certifications from Terra Vitis and High Environmental Value (HVE), underscoring our respect for nature and our land. Firmly oriented toward the future, Domaine des Trottières continues to honor and pass down the heritage, passion, and know-how of the men and women who have shaped the vineyards of Anjou before us.
