Since the 19th century, the Bologne plantation has been entirely dedicated to sugar
cane on all of its plots. This decision fully revealed the exceptional richness of this
volcanic terroir. The Bologne plantation concentrates the most beautiful rum terroirs
on more than a hundred hectares, as potentially unique one on the island. The Bologne
distillery, which has been in operation since 1887, is the oldest distillery in Guadeloupe.
