CHATEAU CLEMENT TERMES
Region: Occitanie
Who are we
Located in Lisle sur Tarn, between Albi and Toulouse, in the age-old Gaillac vineyards, the winery was founded in 1860 by Clément Termes. Fascinated by vines and wine, he decided in 1868 to build a winery. It was only a few years later that he built the château. He shipped his wines all over France in barrels. Most of his customers were clergy. Each generation made its own contribution. In 1968, Jean David undertook the first extension to the winery, increasing the size of the vineyard and giving the Château a new dimension. His son François joined him in 1970. His youth and passion for vines and wine gave the winery a tremendous boost. The arrival of new techniques meant that the winery and bottling room had to be upgraded. The highest technical standards were applied to the wines. Today, Olivier and Caroline David, the seventh generation, are accompanying Château Clément Termes into this new century.
