Château Roubine Cru Classé

Who are we

INTRODUCTION The roots of Château Roubine—one of 18 Crus Classé domains in Provence—trace back to the 14th century. The current owner, Valérie Rousselle, has received various awards and distinctions for her wine (Excellence Française & Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite) VALERIE ROUSSELLE Originally from Saint-Tropez, Valérie Rousselle injected youthful energy into Château Roubine when she took over in 1994. She expanded the estate, converted it to biodynamic viticulture, and invested in state-of-the-art equipment. OUR WINEMAKING The 72-hectare estate is surrounded by old pines and oak trees. With its east-west orientation, clay-limestone soil, and natural drainage, the property promotes the growth of more than 13 grape varieties, including the rare and difficult-to-work Tibouren variety, which accounts for only 2% of the wine grown in Provence.
