Who are we

Founded in 1875 in Saint-Emilion by Jean-Hector Riviere, Maison RIVIERE is a family-run business that has devoted 150 years to its passion for vines and wine. Our aim has always been to share the richness of the Bordeaux terroir and wines in France and around the world. As wine producers, our family now cultivates over 100 hectares of vines in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards, particularly in the Saint-Emilion region. We develop our estates with respect for the terroir and in the purest tradition of Bordeaux wines, to produce fine, elegant and authentic wines of character. As a wine merchant, MAISON RIVIERE's main mission is to promote Bordeaux wines in France and abroad. To achieve this, we select, promote and market a wide range of Bordeaux wines with the help of our sales representatives based in Europe, the United States, China, Japan and Africa. Constantly on the lookout for long-term partners and new vintages to offer our customers, we select quality wines that we can identify with.
