Who are we

François Ducrot, born and raised in Burgundy, graduated in 2006 as a Trained Oenologue at the Institut de la Vigne et du Vin in Dijon. In 2004, he started as Maître de Chai for the Domaine Enclos de la Croix in Lansargues (34). The Domaine was promoting organic farming since the 1980’s but through his environmental philosophy, he pushed the Domaine to officially obtain the Organic certification in 2011 under his tenure. In parallel, François optimized the vinification process and by doing so he removed all animal-based products during the winemaking and limit the use of sulphites as much as possible. Today, all red wines are without added sulphites. With this experience, in 2014, whilst still being the Maître de Chai at the Domaine; he set himself up as an Artisan winemaker with the aim of creating a range of wines in his name to put in a bottle his philosophy of wine as natural as possible showing off the Grape varietal and Terroir characteristics. To this principle he forged partnerships with wine growers from Gard or Hérault in Organic Farming who, on his advice, will do their utmost to obtain the most beautiful grapes possible. At harvest time, these grapes are bought and then vinified by François in the cellars of Lansargues. The wines are then packaged and then distributed in Europe and internationally. François also continues to develop the wines of Domaine Enclos de la Croix as well as a dozen other winegrowers who trust him. In 2020, more than 100,000 bottles were produced, and the activity moved to the site of the former Cave Coopérative de Lansargues (see below). A veritable cathedral of concrete and steel, which François and his partner have acquired this summer 2021, with the aim of completely renovating it to benefit from the very latest technologies in terms of winemaking and cellar hygiene, in a century-old site. The range of wines is certified in Organic Agriculture, with a very low rate of sulphites for the whites and rosés, and without sulphites for the reds.
