Who are we

In 1959, 10 young winegrowers founded officially their own wines estate. A new way of work is beginning, some new winegrowers joined the challenge : 23 winegrowers and 18 ha of vineyards. The smallest cooperative created in Alsace is borned ! Our loyal and implicated winegrowers are the heroes of our winery. They meticulously tend to our vineyards throughout the year in all elements to ensure vine health and quality is optimised. Vieil Armand Wine Estate is an Alsatian and human-size coopwinery. Today we are 80 winegrowers families with 150 hectares of vines. The majority of them are still cultivating family vineyard for more than 4 generations! They work closely with our Winemaker on all decisions, but it’s also the years of their experience in the vines that we think you can enjoy in every bottle. Each year, we produced around 650 000 bottles of wines & cremants. We grow the 7 Alsatian grapes varieties: Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Muscat, Riesling & Gewurztraminer in AOC Alsace, AOC Alsace Grand Cru & AOC Crémant d'Alsace.
