CHÂTEAU DE CHAMPRENARD

Who are we

Located in the heart of the Beaujolais -11 hectares of vines located around the castle and 1 hectare of Moulin à vent -Grapes : Chardonnay, Gamay and Gamaret -Appellation : Bougogne blanc, Moulin à vent, Beaujolais Villages, Vin de France At Champ-Renard, nature has always been regarded as a true treasure. The estate has worked to preserve a rich and balanced ecosystem by encouraging biodiversity in all its forms: vineyards, hedgerows, parkland, meadows, gardens, orchard, vegetable garden, and beehives. From the moment it was acquired, the estate committed to sustainable viticulture, certified by Terra Vitis and HVE3. This commitment was further strengthened by the launch of an agroforestry project and a transition to organic farming. This transition was completed with the 2024 vintage, when the appellations Beaujolais Villages, Beaujolais Blacé, Vin de France, and Bourgogne, along with the three grape varieties grown—Chardonnay, Gamay, and Gamaret—received official organic certification.
