Who are we

From a line of wine-growers since the 17th century in Celles sur Ource, the Gautherot is part of Champagne's historical producers and wine-makers. Our vineyard is rooted in typical Côte des Bar's clay and limestone soils, where our Pinot Noir plots open up to reveal the subtleties of our terroir. The Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc (forgotten and rare grape variety) bring elegance, delicacy and unique complexity to the wine. Our champagnes exclusively come from our 14 hectares family vineyard, cultivated for decades in sustainable viticulture, now certified Terra Vitis, Haute Valeur Environnementale (High Environmental Value) and Viticulture Durable en Champagne (Champagne Sustainable Viticulture). The quality of our cuvées, well-known and frequently awarded, is due to a savoir-faire and meticulous work during each step of the wine process.
