Who are we

Robert Prulho was born in the Cognac area in 1926. Born into a modest family, he started an apprenticeship like boilermaker in 1942. But his passion for the Cognac pushed him to become a still builder in 1948. With his son Richard, who joined him in 1981, they represent two generations of experiment and passion. They still understand the importance of the quality of the distillation. Perfectionists, they built the finest and most effective distillation pot to equip the most prestigious distilleries in Cognac and the world. But their passion cannot stop there: Robert and Richard developed the know-how in the art of making cognac. Because of their natural knowledge about the distilleries in the Cognac area, they learned the delicate secrets of the bonne chauffe , but also of the aging and the blending. Richard PRULHO opt for a selective diffusion of his cognacs. So they represent an exceptional gift thanks to their originality and rarity. The quality of COGNAC PRULHO’s premium range was rewarded by two GOLD MEDALS during the “Concours Mondial de Bruxelles” and the “Citadelles du Vins”.
