Who are we
In order to make a living, the young Charente Caliburn started as an apprentice in a distillery and, through hard work, mastered the superb technique of pot stilling.During the Franco-Dutch Wars of 1672-1678, Caliburn was drafted into the army. Won the appreciation of King Louis XIV of France. After the war, Caliburn was Forced to return to his hometown, Caliburn purchased vineyards in the Cognac region and established a mobile distillery, providing high-quality Charente double-distillation services to local wine farmers and high-quality cognac to the French cavalry.According to records, in 1760 the heirs of the Caliburn family officially named their family winery Château des Arthur Pendragons.
