Who are we
The estate of the Frey-Sohler Family is situated in the middle of Alsace, under the ruins of the Ortenbourg castle. The vineyard of the Family cover two very different soils, the famous gravelly of Scherwiller and the granitic soil of the Rittersberg. Actually Damien (5th generation) and his daughter Aude (6th generation) are on the head of the estate. The Family produce all seven Alsacian grapes varieties: Sylvaner - Pinot Blanc - Riesling - Pinot Gris - Muscat - Gewurztraminer for the white wines and Pinot Noir for Rose and red wines. The Family produce also a range of their famous Cremant d'Alsace (sparkling), very often referenced in the recognized Hachette Guide of the French Wines. The Family export his wines towards more than thirty countries around the world.
