Who are we
MEDICIS Confectionery: The Tale of a Passion March 1952: Pierre CHARNAY creates MEDICIS confectionery. Knowhow and experience of sweets are present. His family produces them since several generation. He decides to move to Paris and purchases a workshop in Saint-Maur, settles his family in an accommodated flat upstairs. His five children will steeped in the living and demanding ambiance of confectionery. With his Firstborn Son he quickly develops the production unit and has become leader manufacturer in dragee. 1968: Building of new workshop in Ferrières-en-Gâtinais. 1985: When Pierre CHARNAY stepped down in favor of his children, size and volume of production had already significantly increased. The company contains in Ferrières several skills allowing it to innovate and spread MEDICIS-TRADITIONAL quality concept to new Gourmet products. Nowadays: Jacques, Bernard, Jean-Christophe and Pierre CHARNAY, his children and grandchildren, are proud to defend and promote the beautiful tradition of gourmet presents, lifetime culture, an art of living brilliantly initiated to the court by Catherine de MEDICIS. MEDICIS contributes to the FRENCH Dietary model: diversity, pleasure and sharing.
