CHAMPAGNE DANIEL GERBAUX
Who are we
Winemakers from fathers to sons since 1901 on the slopes of the Marne Valley, each generation has handed down its know-how and passion and toiled towards the growth and protection of each and every plant in order to produce great quality grapes. Today we work our vineyards according to the principles of sustainable viticulture with the greatest respect of the environment, the last years we obtained the label VDC (Sustainable viticulture in Champagne refers to the application of sustainable development principles to viticulture) & HVE (High Environmental Value). Based in Chézy sur Marne in the Champagne Region's southern part of the Aisne Department near Château-Thierry, our Maison Champagne Daniel Gerbaux is located less than an hour from Paris (half way between Paris and Reims). Our Terroir (land) stretches across of Marne Valley and as such, our cuvées are predominantly Meunier grape variety (the emblematic grape of our valley) it represents 80% of our planting and harmonizes with a remaining 15% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Noir grape planting.
