Anti Oxidant Power (AOP)

Who are we

Anti Oxidant Power (AOP) is a French company providing test and analysis services since 2017. AOP offers a portfolio of robust and standardized in vitro cell assays or preclinical tests to evaluate precisely and the efficacy of natural extracts, ingredients or finished products which could counteract oxidative stress. AOP’s technologies allow for a quantitative antioxidant activity assessment of products and for the identification of mechanism of action at the cell level. Multiple human or animal 2D or 3D cell models are available, in the domains of cosmetics (skin and hair models), food supplements and health. The intracellular mechanism of antioxidant activity is investigated using a combination of 4 cell efficacy tests, targeting direct and indirect pathways. Other cell efficacy tests related to oxidative stress have been developed (anti-pollution, photoprotection tests). For nutraceutical evaluation, in vitro intestinal absorption tests allow to evaluate bioavailability and bioactivity of products. AOP cell efficacy tests will contribute to support claims, publications or marketing for science/evidence backed products, independently or before clinical studies.
