Who are we

Christine and Luc, her brother, have a family estate: the Clos Bagatelle. It is located in Saint Chinian and in Saint Jean de Minervois. The vineyard was built in 1623 and has been handed down from mother to daughter for over a century. Since its origin, where the coat of arms represents a countess in armor, the domain is owned by adventurous women. Our domain is located on 4 very diversified terroirs such as clay-limestone, schist, sandstone but also limestone. In search of expressive wines with a real personality, we cultivate 15 different grape varieties and elaborate cuvées according to the terroirs but also wines for ageing. As we seek excellence and wish to pass on to our children, our objective is to grow our vines as cleanly as possible. To do so, we have been preserving the biodiversity surrounding our parcels for more than 20 years. Our estate has obtained the HVE 3 certification (High Environmental Value). Tim Atkin (Decanter) quotes us as one of the estates offering greatest red wines in the Languedoc. Jeb Dunnuck (Wine Advocate) as one of the most beautiful estates in Saint-Chinian.
