ERIC PIGNARD

Who are we

Estate History The domain was created by Marcel Pignard in 1953. In 1990, Eric Pignard took over part of his father's estate, updating the methods and adding even greater precision to vineyard cultivation and the process of wine creation. Most of the vineyard work is done by hand, preserving the vines and ensuring the high quality of its grapes. The age of our vines determines the quality of our wine, as does the unique terroir of Beaujolais. The estate in a few numbers The estate covers an area of 26.50 hectares. It is composed of 24 hectares of Gamay, producing Beaujolais and 2.4 hectares of Chardonnay, producing White Burgundy and Crémant de Bourgogne. Our vines are between 3 and 90 years of age. The average age of the vineyard is about 57 years.
