Who are we

Domaine Marsaleix is a recent estate located in the Luberon in the south of France in Provence. The estate covers twelve and a half hectares and all our wines are produced organically in AOC Ventoux. The spirit of the estate is driven by the passion of Joel Marsaleix who wanted to produce a wine in the pure tradition of winemaking as in the past, so the choice of organic winemaking was a natural one. But this choice is also the result of a fervent commitment to the defence of nature. The estate will also promote biodiversity and is committed to a biodynamic policy in the future. The estate produces all three colours, including two top-of-the-range white and red wines, which are aged in oak barrels for 12 months. It should be noted that the estate uses 65% less sulphites than the authorised European standard. Since its creation, four years ago, the estate has aroused a great deal of interest from professionals and the press, winning a gold medal for two consecutive years at the Millésime bio International de Montpellier competition for its Phoenix red wine. The wine will be released in 2019 and 2020. He also obtained a star in the Hachette guide 2022 for his classic red cuvée 2020. In this favourable context for a relatively new estate, the domaine has succeeded in getting itself onto the tables of prestigious restaurants in the beautiful Luberon region but also in Paris and on the Côte d'Azur. It has also started an export partnership which places it on several starred tables in Germany, about thirty to be exact.
