DOMAINE LA MARSEILLAISE
Who are we
In the valley of Sauvebonne, in the Crau in the department of the Var, the domain of the Marseillaise nests between hill and river on the soil of the appellation Côtes de Provence. The domaine de la Marseillaise presents a harmonious environment where life is expressed in all its abundance and beauty. Fabienne and Pierre are the fifth generation to run this wine estate, which they took over in 1997. Their wines are made in the respect of nature according to an organic and biodynamic agriculture. It is a family domain of 6 hectares. They have at heart to work within the framework of a respectful approach of the living, without chemical products, nor oenological inputs. These 6 hectares allow the production of an appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOP) Côtes de Provence and a protected geographical indication (IGP). We cultivate 9 different grape varieties, which are used to produce 5 blended wines (2 rosés, 2 reds and 1 white). Each of our actions is thought out to reduce our environmental footprint as much as possible. Our agricultural methods of production, management, transport... are as much as possible in an ecological approach and respectful of the living. We have also set up a deposit system for bottles destined for the local market in order to improve the energy and carbon footprint of the estate. Each of the recovered bottles are reused after washing. For any other information, you can call 06-08-02-02-02 or send an email to domaine-la-marseillaise@orange.fr
