DOMAINE DESERTAUX-FERRAND
Who are we
The Domaine Désertaux-Ferrand is a one century old family-run estate, that was created in 1899. The Domaine is located in Corgoloin, an ideal situation in the heart of the Burgundy winegrowing region, where the Côte de Nuits meets the Côte de Beaune. Christine and her brother Vincent joined the estate at the end of the nineteen’s years. With Geneviève, Vincent’s wife, they are together breathing new life into the Domaine Désertaux-Ferrand, with a focus on diversifying the appellations on offer. Historically including 10 hectares of Côte de Nuits-Villages, the range has now expanded to 20 hectares to include Beaune Premier Cru, Pommard, Meursault Premier Cru, Ladoix, and since the 2017 vintage, three cuvées of Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru. In this region dedicated to Pinot noir and Chardonnay, the historical presence of the Pinot Blanc varietal is notable on the estate. The vines that have been selected over generations by our grandfather, our father, and by us are archived by our nurseryman for our exclusive use. We are committed to obtaining certification reflecting the efforts we are making towards a method of agriculture which is respectful of the environment and public health.
