Who are we

La Famille K is our family’s story, composed of Marianne, Benoit, Jeanne and Agathe. We used to be white collar workers, obviously stressed out, who decided to leave this crazy city life to work passionately and devoutly on the land of Beaujolais. We started our journey, looking for meaning by getting married in Saint Amour (in Beaujolais of course) and then went on to Argentina, New Zealand etc., ending up in Morancé, in the heart of the Pierre Dorées (golden stones country) for which we fell in love. This is full of desire and passion, that we took over a 11ha vineyard in early 2018 to live our vision: producing unpretentious wines of Beaujolais to demonstrate that wine can be good and accessible to everyone. We are fashionably against chemical pesticides (certified organic since 2022) and for lower sulfites dosage, just enough to protect our wine. We express our personalities through different cuvées, both in red (gamay, pinot noir and Gamaret) and white (chardonnay, pinot gris): • L’Héritière, personified by our daughters: fresh, fruity and acidulated • La Mère, Marianne: delicate fruit and structure. This is the heart of our vineyard • Le Père, Benoit, the vineyard’s strong arms, but not too much muscle to let the wine express itself • L’Oncle, David, Benoit’s brother, a free spirited Vin de France, made out of Gamaret
