Who are we

Under the leadership Laurent Bonneau was founded in 2006. Before that, Laurent had spent eight years honing his knowledge on the whole production chain with the Maison Dourthe, at Château Lagarde in Pessac Léognan, which is in the Bordeaux region. His idea for taking the estate forward was this: I planted grass between the vines and raised their supports... to rein in the strong growth of the vine branches so that grapes can benefit ore fully from the vine sap. Harvesting is carried out 50% by hand in small 15 kg boxes, to avoid bruising the grapes, and 50% by mechanical grape harvesters. I now achieve a yield of 55hl/ha. I also rework the soils to keep them healthy, and I don’t use any systemic weed-killers. Laurent Bonneau wants to take an integrated approach, belonging as he does to this generation which cares about quality and the environment.
