Who are we

Located in the hamlet of La Cendrillon in Ornaisons - in the heart of Languedoc - the story of the estate dates back to the middle of the 18th century when it became the property of the Joyeux Family.

Genuily convinced that Corbières region has great quality potential to showcase, Robert Joyeux and his son Hubert aim to craft grand crus wines, fine and elegant.

Their wines highlight the complexity and diversity of their terroirs (mainly clay and limestone) with an original twist brought by the use of uncommon grape varieties.

Besides, their concern to protect a living and sustainable environment led them to convert to organic agriculture since 2008.

In less than 10 years their tireless efforts to build a name on the premium scene for Languedoc - and the unpopular Corbières appellation – have paid off.

In 2017, Domaine La Cendrillon was singled out by Robert Parker as one of the stars of Corbières ; more recently it stood out in Decanter Magazine Corbières : 10 names to know (February 2019).
