Who are we

The vineyard of Château Penin is located on very localized gravelly grounds, between a limestone plateau and a zone of palus, left bank of the river Dordogne, facing the hillside of Saint Emilion. Patrick, 5th generation, has inherited the love of the vine and wine, it is his DNA. His priority is to cultivate with respect for ecosystems, to express the truths of the terroirs and grape varieties without ever distorting them. The team practices sustainable and responsible viticulture in order to limit the environmental impact. These actions have enabled the estate to qualify for the HVE3 (High Environmental Value) standard. The use of organic composts, the preservation of fauna and flora, but also the vinification of sulphite-free wines are examples of this commitment. Determination and passion have increased the complexity and purity of the wines produced. Let yourself be won over by their emotions and conviviality!
