CHATEAU L'ESCARDERIE

Who are we

Our family has taken over the Château l'Escarderie estate in 2015 and converted it to organic culture the same year. Is is situated on southern slopes overlooking the Dordogne river, in AOC Fronsac of Bordeaux wine region. Works in the vineyard are partly done with draft horses. The grapes are harvested by hand and we use indigenous yeasts for the fermentation. SO2 is reduced to the strict minimum.
