Saumur Champigny Rouge – Coq'licot (Bio)

The vines are located in Saint Cyr en bourg, an early terroir in the heart of the Saumur Champigny appellation, and have been managed organically for several years. Poppy is the symbol of this organic wine for a lot of reason : It is often found in vineyards and orchards, on roadsides, paths in our region. It's a bio-indicator plant and it has medicinal properties. Besides, Bees are very attracted by the poppies as it is a melliferous plant with lots of pollen.
