This type of soil promotes drainage, which allows the vine's roots to reach deep into the soil. This gives the wine a mineral freshness and subtle elegance. The siliceous terroir produces grapes with a more pronounced aromatic concentration. The notes of citrus and exotic fruits are thus amplified in the vintage.
