Pommard 1er Cru Clos du verger is both rich and fine. Its color is a deep red with mauve highlights. Its aromas express blackberry, blueberry and redcurrant, cherry pit and ripe plum. With age, animal notes develop. When fully mature, it tends towards leather, chocolate and pepper. It should be given time to develop fully, expressing its firm yet delicate structure, fruity mouthfeel and smooth tannins.
