Bottom-fermented, Pietra is a craft beer brewed from selected malts and Corsican chestnut flour. Highly fermentable, chestnut flour has wonderful brewing qualities: it has an excellent long-lasting eff ect on the head and gives the beer its beautiful color. Mixed into the malt during the mashing process, the chestnut flour is a prime ingredient and not just a flavoring. This recipe, unique in the world, gives Pietra its conflicting taste accentuated by a lingering subtle bitterness. Powerful and delicate, robust and smooth, Pietra has a 6% alcohol content. It displays a beautiful amber color, a strong, exquisite chestnut head both dense and smooth.
