Pavillon du GLANA Millésime 2018

Château du Glana is located on the Route des Grands Vins along the Gironde estuary, between the villages of Beychevelle and Saint-Julien, just opposite Château Ducru-Beaucaillou. 

Built in 1870, these very characteristic walls combine the white of the limestone and the red of the brick. 
In 1961, Mr. Gabriel Meffre, a renowned nurseryman from the Vaucluse region, bought the property.

Surrounded by the greatest Médoc classified growths, this property has experienced a constant qualitative progression since 1999.

An unprecedented vintage that has the makings of a great one!

Vintages 2018 : Despite the complicated weather conditions until the beginning of the summer, the wine managed to we managed to contain a very aggressive mildew. The high level of sunshine thereafter combined with alternating hot days and cool nights, allowed the grapes to reach an exceptional to reach an exceptional ripeness.

The veraison having been rapid and uniform, the 2018 vintage is of great homogeneity.
