The Board of Directors of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) met on October 2nd and 3rd at the Maison du Sport Français. Highlights of Paris 2024 Olympics
The summer was exceptional for French sports. Astrid Guyart, CNOSF Secretary General, highlighted the historic performances of French athletes and the unprecedented support systems in place. With 64 medals (16 gold, 26 silver, 22 bronze) won at home, the French Olympic delegation achieved its goal of ranking in the top 5 nations. Nathalie Péchalat, Deputy President of Club France, reported over 600,000 visitors during the Olympic fortnight, underscoring the success of this initiative. The Board applauded the commitment of all CNOSF collaborators in the success of the Paris 2024 projects.
Looking Ahead: Legacy and Future Events
