Oppidum Malbec

Terroir : East-west facing limestone scree slopes

Vinification : Harvested at low temperature, vatted in oak casks. Cold maceration, 3 week fermentation. Extraction by manual punching of the cap. Aged for 12 months in 500-liters oak barrels.

Tasting notes : Complex black cherry nose with hints of pepper, smoke and liquorice. Good concentration on the palate, long and full-bodied, with an explosion of black fruit, violets and mineral notes on the finish.
