Nuits saint Georges wine gets its name from its patron Saint Georges. The Confrerie des Chevaliers Du tastevin (wine brotherhood) was founded there in 1934. Average 42 years old. Aging for 18 months in oak barrels. Best served between 15 to 16° C. over rib steak, duck, lamb and strong cheeses
