Nuits St Georges 1er Cru Aux Chaignots 2018

Chaignots comes from the ancient French Chasne with the suffix ot bourguignon, which gave the modern name chesne then oak. Place where oaks used to grow.

Northern part of the vineyard, territory of Nuits-Saint-Georges; exposure: east; altitude: 260/280 metres.

Surface of our vines: 1.55 ha

Wine : 

Robe sustained.

Complex and intense aromatic richness on the nose. Fruity nuances evolve towards sweet floral fragrances.

With ageing, balsamic, venison, musk and liquorice notes complete a fine, subtle and distinguished aromatic range.
