Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er cru Les Vaucrains Domaine Jean Chauvenet

Intense and deep red colour. The nose, very complex, shows black and red fruits aromas. It can be sometimes austere when young. Then, aromas are developing within the ageing, to reach fresh leather notes, animal tastes, mixed with balsamic and liquorice aromas. The mouth is very well balanced between a good structure of tannins, and a full bodied wine. The end of the mouth is very persistent, showing lots of finesse and elegance.
