TERROIR
The Bernard family, winemakers for three generations, has this beautiful vineyard
in terraces of 4 and a half hectares, with an altitude of 100 meters. Located in
the district of St Véran on the town of Beaumes de Venise, former Duchy Papal
south of the Dentelles de Montmirail. On sandy, slightly stony soils of 14 million
years. Harvest is manual.
VINIFICATION AND AGEING
Vinification by direct pressing. Mutage in fermentation with alcohol at
95°C to obtain a minimum of 110 grams of sugar per litre. Then cooling
to preserve the aromas of flowers and fruity nuances.
TASTING NOTES
Our Muscat de Beaumes de Venise presents a golden dress with reflections
green. An elegant first nose of fresh fruit on peach aromas, apricots, muscat
and citrus notes. The palate is ample and silky, a nice length.
FOOD AND WINE PAIRINGS
To be enjoyed as an aperitif, with blue-veined cheeses or as a dessert on
a lemon meringue pie. Ideal match: a Cavaillon melon at the Beaumes
de Venise.
