Les Coteaux de L. RED Cadillac Cotes de Bordeaux

Terroir:
The vineyard overlooks the Garonne valley, on the steepest and sunniest clay-limestone slopes of our estate.
This terroir gives the "Cuvée Les Coteaux de Lou" a solid and round structure at the same time.

Production :
Size of the vineyard for this wine: 2.5 ha.
Planting density: 5550 vines/hectare.
Average age of the vines: 30 years.

Vinification and maceration:
– Mechanical harvesting and sorting.
– Pre-fermentation maceration.
– Aged in barrels for 12 months (30% new barrels).

TASTING NOTES:
The color is deep red with red tile undertones. On the nose, liquorice and pepper are clearly present. The palate is fresh with aromas of orange zest and dried flowers. The tannins remain supple and structure the mouth. We end with dried fruits.

FOOD & WINE AGREEMENTS:
To be consumed with red meat, charcuterie, aperitif in winter and spicy dishes.
