Les 18 Bizuts – IGP Atlantique red
Mission statement: We are 18 young winemakers from Tutiac who wanted to make together a wine that resembles us and brings us together, therefore a wine of friends, a frank wine, a free wine! To do this, the whole group got up very early on Saturday 24 September to harvest our best plots at the same time and bring in the ripe grapes. Within a few hours, we had the exact juice required, fermenting in tank: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec! And in the winemaking process, all the operations were done with the aim of obtaining a soft and slow extraction of colour and tannins and to preserve a maximum of fruit
Wine: You have to drink it to believe it! Did we tell you that our grapes were very ripe? It is dense in the glass, concentrated, with a pure and intense nose of black cherry, blackcurrant and blueberry with a hint of violets. On the palate? Unctuous and velvety, with a lot of sweetness, well-melted tannins and a very long aromatic persistence on the fruit
Pairings: It’s up to you, but we like it when we’re all together, when the sun starts to set and the smell of the barbecue starts to tickle our noses!
