Le Grand Noir is a New World Brand from France – by a unique team of experts. The black sheep on the label reflects the revolutionary nature of the brand launched in 2001.
While the rest of the herd stood still or followed, le Grand Noir set out to explore for itself. The aim – create a wine with French qualities that could compete directly in terms
of quality, consistency and variety with international brands. Produced by Celliers Jean d'Alibert, the 3trd biggest vineyard operator in France (1,200 winegrowers, 6,000 hectares of vineyards). Le Grand Noir GSM : The blend of grape varieties gives spicy blackberryish flavours, dark plum, black cherry dark fruit and a hint of pepper. There is also a distinctive mineral, perfumed note that comes from the Mourvedre.
